The President of Estonia to open the Conference

Global lockdown showed and is still showing that sustainable digital transformation needs more open collaboration and experience sharing among countries. Last year, the President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid stressed so in her opening remarks at the e-Governance Conference.

The crisis has shown that digital solutions can successfully mitigate the lockdown. Lessons learned from the global lockdown show that sustainable digital transformation needs more open collaboration and experience sharing,” she said.

Her statement is still timely today.

We are honoured to welcome the President of the Republic of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid to open the 7th e-Governance Conference. After the speech she will participate in the discussion session Joint Digital Steps Towards a Sustainable Future and shares her fresh and sharp views on how countries could benefit from better collaboration on digital transformation within the EU and beyond.
